Monflanquin, one of ' les plus beaux villages de France' is at 8 kilometers from the property and there are many others in the area such as:
Penne d'Agenais, high up on a plateau with fabulous views and quaint streets with artist boutiques and a wide choice of good restaurants.
Villeréal, Issigiac and Pujols - especially on market days - or their marchés gourmands in the evening during July and August where you buy local produce right on the market square and dine together at communal tables - bring knife and fork!
Nature
Hills, rivers, castles, orchards, vineyards, all with grandiose panoramas.
Go on one of the many GR (Grand Randonne) walks from the detailed maps provided - straight from the property or start from many of the nearby bastide villages and grab a good lunch when you start or finish your hike!
Float down the Lot in a canoe or a (self-drive) 'whisper' boat and enjoy the sights from the water...

Aside from the Little boutiques and
shops and a range of restaurants, there
is a choice of 3 bakery shops near and
in Monflanquin and a Casino supermarkt just before you hit the Village.
Near Villeneuve-sur-Lot, just 9 kilometers the other way, there are various hypermarchés (Leclerq, Intermarche) and the weekly market on Saturday morning with a huge choice in fresh Foods and vegetables.
